New Swimmer Assessments

April 24th, 2014 | Posted by kigooswm in Calendar - (Comments Off on New Swimmer Assessments)

All swimmers new to Kigoos must take part in a swim assessment with our coaches.  Our  assessment will take place:

When: Thursday, May 1st
Time 4:00-7:00pm
Where:  Steveston Pool located on Moncton Ave. next to the Steveston Community Centre

Assessments are done on a drop in basis.  You may stop by the pool between 4 and 7 pm and we will set you up with a coach who will do your child’s assessment.

Please be dressed for the weather as assessments will take place, rain or shine.  The pool is heated but if the weather is cooler, please dress appropriately for before and after the swim.

You will be advised later on in the evening of May 1st if your child has been accepted into the Kigoos.  Final group placements will happen once children have been swimming with children of the same age for the first week and a half of May.

Please email Joanne at registrar@kigoos.com with any questions.

Registration Update

April 14th, 2014 | Posted by kigooswm in Registration - (Comments Off on Registration Update)
We have just passed the 170 mark with registrations for this summer.  We will likely be in a wait-list position at some levels shortly.  If you haven’t signed up for this summer, please do so this week to ensure a spot.  Also encourage any friends looking at Kigoos to apply this week.  We are actively looking to increase our swimmers in the higher divisions, so if your sons or daughters know of any high school aged students looking to swim this summer – encourage them to register with Kigoos.

All Registration Information is available under the Registration Tab.
